Doing Business in Ghana
Ghana's economy is mainly dominated by agriculture. The most popular agricultural produce being corn, wheat, palm oil, rubber, peanuts and butter. The largest forest land mass in West Africa, lies in Ghana and is rich in profitable timber. Minerals, cocoa and timber are the three primary economic foundations. Cocoa is an aging tradition in Ghana with a planting area accounting for about roughly 57% of it's arable land; helping the country to be the world's leading cocoa producer and exporter. Ghana is also the world's fourth largest producer of diamonds, while being the third largest for quantity of manganese.
